I have deemed this to be high school senior photography session week on the blog! I’ve had really great seniors so far this year and want to show off their beautiful images!
Let’s start with Andricia. When we started talking about what she had envisioned for her session, she knew she wanted an outdoor location with trees and beautiful flowers. I had just the spot in Greenwood Village. This area had everything she wanted and then some. I loved that we could get lush green grass in one area and the taller wild grass in another. This location also had some architectural features, like the barn-type shelter house, that would add some character and variety to the images. The outfits she had chosen for her photo session were amazing as well. I love that she picked three completely different looks – one dress, one with shorts and one with jeans – so again we could get variety in her looks and poses. When you bring 3 dresses it really limits you on what poses we can do! Layering your outfit with a colored scarf or a trendy jean jacket is really in style at the moment, and it really helps to add interest to your outfit while still making it classy.
New this year, we have teamed up with some great professional makeup artists to bring a polished look to our senior photography sessions. Some of our sessions include a pro makeup look, or you can add it on to the others. Not only does this make you look even more gorgeous for your senior photos, it’s also just a great way to make your high school senior feel special! I mean, afterall, how often do you get your makeup professionally done! For Andricia’s photo session we teamed up with Rachel from Decorated Beauty. She met us at the location, did a quick consultation with Andricia to learn more about the look she wanted, and gave her a flawless, natural look.
