We start with a quick phone call to talk through your vision, your style, and how you'd love to use your images.

I'll walk you through the entire experience, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident moving forward.

Style & Concept Consultation

 

This is where everything starts to come together.

We'll plan your outfits, locations and overall look so your senior pictures feel nature, cohesive and true to you.

It's also a chance to connect before your session so you walk in feeling prepared, confident and excited.

Guided Session & Ordering Appointment

 

During your senior photo session, I'll guide you through posing, expression, and movement so you never feel awkward or unsure of what to do.

Then, during your Ordering Appointment, we'll select your favorite images and design custom artwork and collections that you'll be proud to display and enjoy for years to come.

Senior Portrait FAQs

The best time to schedule senior portraits depends on where you live and the look you're hoping to achieve.

In Minnesota, Iowa and Colorado, many high school seniors choose summer or early fall sessions to take advantage of warm weather and meet yearbook deadlines.

In Florida, senior sessions often take place throughout the fall, winter and spring when temperatures are more comfortable.

Because availability is limited during peak senior season, I recommend reaching out as early as possible to reserve your preferred date and start planning your custom senior portrait experience.

The best outfits are the ones that feel like you. During your Style & Concept Consultation, we'll plan your wardrobe, locations, and the overall look together so your senior portraits feel natural, cohesive, and authentic. Whether your style is casual, trendy, athletic, classic, or somewhere in between, I'll help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and reflect your personality.

Every senior session is customized to fit your style and interests. Some seniors prefer a natural outdoor setting, while others choose an urban downtown location, a favorite park, their school, or a meaningful place connected to their hobbies and activities. I photograph high school seniors throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Florida and Colorado just to name a few locations.

Absolutely! One of my favorite parts of planning senior portraits is incorporating the activities, interests and passions that make you unique. During your Style & Concept Consultation, we'll talk through your interests and brainstorm ways to personalize your session so your senior pictures feel authentic, meaningful and uniquely you.

After your session, we'll meet for an Ordering Appointment where you'll see your images for the first time. Together, we'll select your favorite portraits and design custom artwork, albums, graduation announcements and image collections that fit your needs. I'll guide you through the process so you never feel overwhelmed by the choices.

You're not alone! In fact, many seniors tell me they're nervous before their session because they don't know how to pose or don't feel comfortable in front of the camera. That's where I come in. I'll guide your senior through every step of the process - from posing and expression to movement and interaction - so they can relax, have fun, and feel confident. By the end of the session, most seniors tell me it was much easier and more enjoyable than they expected.
