I always love a good challenge when it come to photo sessions. Whether it’s finding a perfect location with great lighting, creating unique images that the client will love, or even just working with a not-so-excited-to-be-getting-photographed subject. No matter what the challenge, it’s my job for the client to have an amazing experience and create artwork they will cherish. Most times with seniors, especially the girls, they are uber excited to be in front of the camera and being a model for a couple hours. However, quite often senior boys are less than thrilled to be coming into the studio for a session. Take Wyatt for example. He’s not big on having his picture taken, and was definitely not thrilled to be drug out of bed for a 9am session, especially when the days left for sleeping in were numbered! I reassured him that the session wouldn’t take all terribly long, we’d be done in no time, and he might even have a little fun, afterall we were going to end the session in his domain: the skate park. I still don’t think I convinced him that getting your photograph taken can be fun, but what really matters is that despite everything I was able to capture images that his mom loves. Mission accomplished!
