Denver Colorado & Iowa Portrait Photography | Model Session in Boulder

This is another model session that I photographed a couple months ago up in Boulder. I had gotten in contact with Theresa, who was in need of some new images for her hair styles/makeup portfolio. So we located Katie, a model here in Denver, and talked Theresa’s boyfriend, Evan, and one of her current clients, Erika, into being our models for the day.

On the day of the photo shoot, I met Katie and Theresa at Voodoo Hair Lounge, where Theresa works. Theresa had given Katie’s look a little update with some new highlights and when I arrived they were just finishing up the styling. While they were working on her makeup look, I checked out the wardrobe selections and scoped out a few locations along the Pearl Street Mall to go with each one. Since it was a chilly day, I knew we’d only have little spurts of time outside before everyone got cold and noses would start turning red. I tried to find places near the salon so we could bop back in Voodoo to warm up a little.

Below are some of my favorite images from the session with each of our great models and of course, Theresa doin’ her thang!
