Alexa | Graduation Photos in Clarion Iowa

Meet Alexa! She’s another one of my Class of 2020 Street Team members (seriously, I always have THE best teams!). Alexa had actually found me and my work early in her Junior year, and she reached out to me for more information about graduation photos way before I was looking for Street Team members. So when I did start my search, she was the first one I reached out to. LOVE it when someone loves my work that much!

Alexa wanted a mix of everything for her graduation photos – alleys, city/architecture, water, nature and flowers. We were able to get all the items on her wishlist all within a 5 minute drive from the Clarion, Iowa studio. I think my favorite photos are the ones with Alexa in her black dress and the bright pink flowers. This store front in Clarion has always been one of my favorites. I love the brick mixed with the white door and wrought iron railings. It has some personality! The bright pink flowers took it to a whole new level.

Growing up, Alexa always dreamed of being a part of the Dance Team. When she got to high school, she was so nervous about trying out that she pushed her dream off for a couple more years. Her junior year she got the courage to try out, made it, and has been loving it ever since, so of course it was really important to incorporate this into her graduation photo session and I found the perfect alley with the perfect lighting to do some fun images for her.

What is your dream job?
My dream job would be to own an animal shelter that did not keep animals locked up in cages and scared. I would want to own a facility that provided a comfortable and fun temporary home for them until they find their forever homes. Unfortunately, that dream would cost a lot of money, haha!

Congratulations on your graduation, Alexa! I had so much fun getting to know you this past year and cannot wait to see what amazing things you accomplish in the future!
