Twin Cities Portrait Photography | Website updated!
May 15, 2010Hi everyone!
It’s been awhile since I’ve updated my website so I decided it was time to just sit down and do it! So if you haven’t been there in awhile, you should go check it out. There’s new photos, new information (including links to some of my favorite stores that I partner with – oh and a couple sweet sites for high school juniors and seniors!), current specials, and a new video on the Senior Gallery page. Stop by Kristina Lynn Photography & Design dot com today!
I am getting super excited for senior season to get into full swing. These past couple of weeks that I have photographed my senior models, has really gotten me in the groove again. I’m constantly online searching for new backgrounds and props the seniors would love, honing my photographic skill and experimenting with new lighting in studio, and designing some killer grad cards for this year’s graduating seniors. The creativity is really flowing!
So I was super excited when Alex came in for her senior modeling session. I had photographed Alex before (last year we did a modeling session to create new head shots to submit to local agencies) and so I knew she was very relaxed behind the camera and I would be able to play around. My makeup artist, Jody from Makeup Savvy here in Stillwater, created three different looks and Alex just KILLED the session. I couldn’t believe the fantastic shots we got! Here are just a few of my favorites…with more on my Facebook page. So go check them out!
Twin Cities Model & Fashion Photography | Jason’s Modeling Session
September 22, 2009Jason, a junior in high school, decided this year instead of playing football he wanted to take a different route – possibly join the world of modeling! A very exciting change! So in order to get his foot in the door, he wanted some professional photographs taken that he could submit to various agencies around the Twin Cities. That’s where I come in
So last week, he made the journey from the southern suburbs of the Cities up here to my studio in Stillwater for his modeling session. Knowing that most agencies want to see pretty basic shots with plain backgrounds, we did the majority of the session in the studio. But he had also brought a great outfit that would look killer outside so we ventured out in the hot afternoon sun to grab a couple shots. Here are a few of my favs from the session and make sure to check out the Facebook page for some more!

Iowa Fashion Photography | Rebecca’s Modeling Session
August 19, 2009I just happened to be going through my blog today, updating and adding some of my most recent sessions when I realized that I had completely missed blogging about one of the best modeling sessions to date! Rebecca, my deepest apologizes! But better late than never right?
About a month ago Rebecca had contacted me to see if there was any way of doing a modeling session down in Iowa. She had stumbled upon my website while doing a search for fashion photographers in Iowa and loved the look of my work as well as the products, like comp cards, that I offer. It just so happened that I was going to be making a trip back home right around the same time so it worked out great! She’s from the southern part of Iowa and my hometown is in the north central region so we decided to meet in Marshalltown to do the session – a nice in between distance for the both of us
I’d never been to Marshalltown so I was very excited to go shoot in a new area. Rebecca, her mom and I had a BLAST as we wandered around Marshalltown’s Main Street and I was SO inspired by the grunge alleys and fun buildings that provided fabulous backdrops for the session. It was hard for me to pick out just a few favorites, out of the hundreds of great frames, for the blog but here they are. Thanks for a fun and inspiring session Rebecca – you’re going to go far in the modeling world!
